nickfs2004 March 10, 2010 at 1:09 pm

It is fast when you imagine people walking on te tracks:D I been in India for half a year. I been traveling by train a lot. It’s the best way of transport in my opinion.

mathieuvp1 March 10, 2010 at 1:09 pm

enzhus (3 days ago),
It is not possible to have trains going at speed of Maglev or TGV in India at this time. There are millions of people and animals on the tracks at any given time. If you notice in Japan or France, they separate the rail lines well away from the public and animals.
In terms of proximity to people, Indian trains are the most scary for sure

dheerajrao March 10, 2010 at 1:09 pm

You call this ‘high speed’?? :O That’s just about 65-70kph dude!!

dheerajrao March 10, 2010 at 1:09 pm

Right you are. And those 250kmph trains dont have any charm either. IR rocks!

thevideographer1 March 10, 2010 at 1:09 pm

first of all quit making typos moron…
anyways we may not have one of those 250kmph trains but we ain’t havin’ bullock carts either..

enzhus March 10, 2010 at 1:09 pm

It’s also embarrassing form me to say that there is no high speed train in India at all. Whatever you have listed, none of them quanlify.

eriksic March 10, 2010 at 1:09 pm

thevideographer1 March 10, 2010 at 1:09 pm

LOL dude…..this is embarrassing for any indian like me!! you call this fast? what will u do if u see Bhopal shatabdi at 160kmph? :O…or any of the rajdhani’s at about 135kmph!!

stanphoenix March 10, 2010 at 1:09 pm

archi451 March 10, 2010 at 1:09 pm

OMG that was so fast I couldnt even see what was colour of the train…was it red

ghpk March 10, 2010 at 1:09 pm

no its not 90km/h, as it appears a normal passenger train.
carriages are of standard size, they let 72 people get sleeping place.

If you see 2 high speed train in india, you’ll see they cross much more faster than this one, they come with a wind tunnel kinda effect, vroooommmmmmm
I’ll check if i ever catch those rajhdhani and shatabdi on cam someday.

jupiter1716 March 10, 2010 at 1:09 pm

Looks like it’s running at 90 km/h but aren’t the carriages kinda *long*?
